Western Canada Water (formerly Western Canada Water and Wastewater Association) is responding to change. We seek to be current, engaging and relevant to you and to the larger community we each serve. Embracing that change requires an update to the Association’s logo. The logo update will accommodate a new constituent organization, and present the Association in an eye-catching manner to engage those who seek information.
The Western Canada Water logo represents the clean, ecological and progressive emphasis of the organization. The letter W, representing the west, is reflected in the water as a blue, rippling maple leaf. The centre of the reflected leaf combines with the centre of the letter W to form an upward arrow signifying the progress of the organization and its motto “Working together for water”. The symmetry of the image, typography and its clean lines add a sense of solidity and stability to the logo, mirroring the organization’s mandate of keeping our water supply safe and stable. The fresh green and deep blue, representing land and water, logically finish the logo.
