The Walkerton tragedy changed the face of the water industry. Operator certification became a mandatory requirement as a result of the tragedy. This one day workshop will cover the circumstances that led to the tragedy and the long felt ramifications still present in the community. Most importantly, this workshop highlights why maintaining certification and continuing your operator education is paramount.
