Join us for the 6/60k World Water Classic benefitting Water For People

When: Fri October 2 - Sun October 11, 2020
Where: There will be group runs in Calgary, Edmonton and Regina, or participate on your own!

This is a 6k run/walk or 60k bike event to raise funds and awareness for the world water crisis and to end walking for water.  6k represents the average distance women and girls walk per day to fetch water (in the districts where Water For People‚Äôs program work takes place).  For $25 USD, you can participate in the 6k or 60k.  Kids 12 and under are $10 USD.

We encourage you to join a team with your friends, family, coworkers, or fellow Committee members.

There will be group runs in Calgary, Edmonaton and Regina.
To participate on your own time/place, be a part of our team.


When: Sunday, October 4 from 10 am to 1 pm
Where: Picnic site at Science Centre.  The running / walking route will be around Wascana Lake.  The biking route will begin and end at the picnic site with the exact route and distance to be determined.
How:  Join the WCS AWWA Committee (Regina) Team 


When: Sunday, October 4 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Where: Snowy Owl Picnic Site, North Glenmore Park
How: Join the WCW Committee (Calgary) Team


When: Saturday, October 3 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Where: Meeting at Bonnie Doon Pool Parking Lot, and Walking the Mill Creek Ravine
How:  Join the team Edmonton Clean Water
